Debert Mountain Top Crash
During the last training exercise out of Greenwood,
Nova Scotia LAC Don Breadner, age 19 and his navigator
were killed when their Mosquito Aircraft crashed into

I am interested in finding the exact location of this crash site for i live in the area.
DEBERT MOUNTAIN TOP CRASH
Recently we were ATVing down near North Brookfield, Between Digby & Bridgewater and came across an old crash site of a Mosquito. There was a cross at the site put in place by Legion br. 87. On plaque:
MOSQUITO A/C KB126
CRASH–APRIL 20 1944
DIED–PILOT-F/O MCCANN, HUGH EDWARDS–149386
NAVIGATOR-P/O BROWN, JAMES GERALD–163982
2 BRITISH AIRMEN OUT OF GREENWOOD
There is still debree at sight—props,leather from seats,misc metal parts
Am unable to find any history on this crash site

i saw the misq.. crash in truro april 18 1945..
it crashed into the Miller house and their property on Kaulback St. I was one of the first on the scene after
they crashed … one was a f/cpl… i had many parts of the plane but all are gone now

wanted info. on my uncle who was killed in a plane crash , and I think it was up in Canaan.His name was Albert Frizle[not sure of the spelling]

Hi, joan. I live 5 min. from cannan and have been near all 5 crash sites , but there is very little informatin on these crashes just stories from the local people of the area. I do have some dates when the crashes took place . so I will look into what plane your uncle was involved in.
