I've been in most of the old military/civil tunnels listed. I think the only ones I haven't been in are Fort Anne, Dalhousie University and Oak Island. Oak Island is now private property, so accessibility is a little tight.

Some friends and I are looking for some caves around NS, and we can't seem to find any other then Hayes. If any of you know of some could you shoot me some locations around NS (mainland not CB island) of some good caves or mineshafts? Thanks in advance

The list has been ordered and re-ordered several times on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NSExplore/
I looked back over the posts and the trailing numbers don't immediately make sense, when I find out I'll post a clarifying note. As far as how to find them, again the list was compiled largely by people contributing ones they've heard of, or known, adding directions and more information is a longer process of getting people to elaborate.

I've been to a number of these caves! It's great to see a compiled list of sites! I'm also wondering what the number at the end of each site means?
