Colored. 9"X13½". Attractive chart shows the entrance to Halifax Harbour, locating Cape St. Cendre, Isle Perrot or Cornwallis; the town of Halifax & Baye Torrington. Depth soundings are placed throughout the harbour regions and a small inset chart in top left titled "Plan De La Ville d'Halifax' shows street block plans and location of a church, governors mansion, town hall and soldiers' barracks. In lower right is a very ornate and decorative title cartouche, with leaf, flower and scroll motifs.
