Colored outlines. 19X23½. Very handsome title cartouche in the form of an engraving (colored) of a draped banner over trees and foliage. A beaver crouches on the shore and the mileage scale is on the rounded hull of a wooden boat in the foreground. Large inset: "Supplement pour les lacs Du Canada." This fine chart shows the northeastern regions from Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River to the coast of Maine and Newfoundland. Locates all offshore fishing banks. Many Indian Settlements, towns, rivers, harbors and elevations. The inset shows the five Great Lakes in fine detail and on a large scale.
