Beautiful original well detailed copper engraving map of the Eastern Canada, New England, North Eastern United States "L'Isle de Terre-Neuve, L'Acadie ou la Nouvelle Ecosse, L'isle St. Jean et la Partie Orientale du Canada" from " Atlas de Toutes les Parties Connues du Globe Terrestre" , published in Paris in 1780 by the important French engineer and cartographer Rigobert Bonne (1727-1795) who succeeded J. N. Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine.

This double-page chart shows North Eastern America from New Jersey and New York City to Cape Cod to Newfoundland, and includes city of 'Philadelphie', 'New York', 'Boston', 'Oswego', 'Fort Frontenac', 'New Haven', Fort Halifax'and 'Fort Frederic'. Well shown New England and Eastern Canada, including Acadia, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Brunswick, Prince Edward Island.  Indian Tribes identified, Southeastern Canada named as 'Eskimaux'. Geographical features are all included.
